Number 16: Learn how to cook

Tonight I tried a new recipe and it came out delicious. 

Pesto chicken...yum!  

So I mentioned the farmhouse earlier in the week.  It's a 200 year old 3 bedroom 2 bath farmhouse.  There are currently 2 bids on it, but we've gone ahead and put a bid on it as well.  I'm pretty sure nothing will come of it, but I must say it's exciting to actually be putting a bid on a house! 

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, even though I have nothing valid to show it's been a big week for my 30 before 30.  
First off:
1. "Buy a house": We looked at a house for the second time this weekend.  We brought a contractor in and he is working up an estimate.  (There are a couple of issues with the foundation).  It's a 200 year old farm house.  More on that later in the week if we decide to put a bid in.


18. "Read all the books in the bookcase": Finished another book this weekend.  Even started a new one before picking up the kindle.  This will be a slow one. 


19. "Decorate a room":  I started adding some stuff to my amazon wish list.  It's decor for a kitchen.  I planned stuff that would go with any type of kitchen we end up with..

24. "Get a class A":  I bought a voucher for the safety course that will help me obtain a Class A.

 

Busy days

Alyssa sent over a box of books so I just added about 25 more books to my bookshelf...

I have decided that maybe I should try one of those 30 day photo challenges just to get a feel for my camera.  I figure i'll start after the holidays, currently I have way to much to do to remember to take out my camera and post a new pic on here a day.
